The SST 350 was the larger-engined two-stroke roadster in Cagiva's late-1970s range, sharing its engine and chassis with the SX trail version. A road test on the source page praised the strong, light and economical engine but criticised steep, skittish steering and bouncy suspension on rough surfaces. It was also considered expensive against rivals such as the Suzuki SP370.
