The 1098S was the up-specification version of Ducati's 1098 Testastretta twin. Over the base bike it gained fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, forged Marchesini wheels that cut unsprung weight, carbon-fibre parts and the Ducati Data Analyser as standard. It kept the 1099 cc engine and the race-inspired styling of the 1098 family.
