An early lightweight Ducati scrambler for younger or less experienced riders, using the air-cooled 125 cc overhead-cam single with four speeds. It had wide bars, off-road tyres, laced wheels and a small headlamp on a tubular steel frame. Compared with the later 1971 version it kept the older plunger-type rear shocks.
