The Mach 1 was Ducati's sporting 250 single of the mid-1960s, built from the bevel-drive SOHC engine of the 175 but enlarged to 250 cc. It was unusual for its day in having a five-speed gearbox, and it came with clip-on bars, rearset footrests and a narrow racing-style saddle. Output was around 28 hp, enough for roughly 100-110 mph, and it is now a sought-after classic.
