The Piuma arrived in 1961 as an entry-level lightweight for students and young adults, essentially a Brisk with a three-speed gearbox shifted from the grip and fatter tyres. Sporting 48 and 50 cc variants and an Export version with a high-compression, higher-revving engine followed. The UK knew the Piuma as the Puma.
