The Indiana was Ducati's attempt at an American-style cruiser, built from Elefant-derived running gear with twin chrome rear shocks, a simplified front end and cruiser wheels. It used two Bing carburettors for smoother running and a relaxed riding position. Reviewers now remember it as an unlikely and poorly received departure for the marque, although it was quick for a cruiser of its time.
