The 750 Sport of the late 1980s took the complete air-cooled desmodromic engine from the Paso 750 and dropped it into a modified 750 F1-style frame, without the Paso's enclosing bodywork or oil radiators. The result was a lighter, more traditional-looking Ducati sport roadster with a half fairing and small 16-inch wheels. Road testers praised the stability but criticised the fairing shape and a flexing steering-head area under hard braking.
