By 1987 the standard 750 F1 had the 10:1 compression Pantah twin with Kokusan ignition and 36 mm Dell'Orto carburettors, in red with green and white bodywork. It was a short-wheelbase sports bike derived from Ducati's TT racers, tested against the Bimota DB1 in period.
