The Santamonica was the last limited edition of the air-cooled 750 F1, named for Lucchinelli's 1986 win at Misano's Santamonica circuit. Its engine matched the Laguna Seca, but it came in red and silver with a dual seat, and was built mainly for the Japanese market. It marked the end of the original Pantah-era F1 under Cagiva ownership.
