The 1992 half-fairing 750 Supersport was Ducati's cheaper entry-level sports twin, sold only in red. It used a 748 cc version of the air-cooled desmodromic twin in a chassis borrowed from the 900SS, with a wet clutch and a single front disc. Testers liked the comfortable riding position and light weight but noted a lean flat spot and a spongy front brake.
