The 800 Sport was the lower-priced member of the 2003 800 line, sharing the new fuel-injected 803 cc air-cooled twin and six-speed gearbox with the 800SS but with a simpler chassis: steel swingarm and three-spoke wheels. The bigger engine added over 10 hp compared with the old 750 and made it easy and friendly to ride.
