The Dark is the matte-black version of the 848, mechanically the same as the standard bike but sold for a lower price. Its engine, chassis and Brembo/Showa hardware are unchanged, so it still offered 134 hp from the Testastretta Evoluzione twin in a compact, 168 kg package.
