For 1993 the Superlight Mk II was a de-specced version of the Mk I, with Brembo wheels, stainless steel front discs and no vented clutch cover; a fully floating rear brake was the main distinguishing feature. It remained a single-seat, limited-run sibling of the 900SS with the same 904 cc engine.
