Ducati file

The 900SS was the street-legal production racer that grew out of the 750 Super Sport and Ducati's 1972 Imola 200 victory. It used the 864 cc bevel-drive V-twin with desmodromic valves, polished con-rods and bare Dell'Orto carburettors, with a half-fairing, clip-ons and a single racing seat. It was fast, stable and demanding, and became one of Ducati's most revered classics.
