The Darmah SS was the sportier follow-up to the Darmah SD, introduced in 1979 with two-tone paint and a more purposeful look while keeping electric start and the detuned 900 V-twin. It sat between the touring Darmah and the racer-like 900SS in the range. Production ran from 1979 to 1981.
