The Carenata (fully faired) version of the injected 900SS for 2001 shared the air-cooled 904 cc desmodromic twin with the half-faired SuperSport. The bodywork gave more weather protection and a sportier look, while engine, chassis and brakes were unchanged. Wikipedia notes the SS was sold with full or half fairing from 1999 to 2007.
