The 907 i.e. replaced the 906 Paso in 1991 and borrowed engine and chassis ideas from the 851, including Weber-Marelli fuel injection, a revised clutch, stronger crankcases and a longer aluminium swingarm. It moved to 17-inch wheels and kept the Paso's double-cradle steel frame and enclosing bodywork. The 1992 bike got larger front discs and gold Brembo calipers, but sales were poor and it ended that year.
