The Bayliss Replica was a limited-run 998S dressed in the livery of factory Ducati World Superbike rider Troy Bayliss. Mechanically it matched the 998S, with the Testastretta engine and Öhlins suspension, while the colours and graphics set it apart. It was priced at a premium over the standard 998S and aimed at collectors and track riders.
