Ducati file

A tall adventure-style machine that used the air-cooled 904 cc desmodromic V-twin from the 900SS in a Cagiva-built Elefant chassis, sold under the Ducati name in some markets. It has a big fairing, upside-down fork and long suspension travel, but at over 200 kg it is more road bike than dirt bike. Period testers praised the strong low-down torque and noted high-speed vibration and a weak rear brake.
