The 2009 Hypermotard 1100 remained the standard version of Ducati's air-cooled supermoto, with the Dual Spark 1078 cc twin, dry clutch and 45 mm throttle bodies. Equipment includes wide tapered handlebars, removable passenger pegs, a GP-styled digital display and an LED tail light integrated into the tail. Ducati also claimed lower scheduled-maintenance cost on this engine.
