The up-specification Hypermotard of the first generation, sharing the 90 hp air-cooled twin with the base bike but adding an Öhlins rear shock, forged lightweight wheels and premium Brembo brakes. It shaved a couple of kilos off the base model and was pitched at riders who wanted the playful, wheelie-friendly character with better hardware. It was replaced by the EVO SP.
