The MH900e was a retro-styled homage to Mike Hailwood's 1978 Isle of Man TT win, drawn by Pierre Terblanche around the 900SS engine. Ducati sold a run of only 2,000 numbered bikes, ordered exclusively over the internet, at EUR 15,000 each. It combined 1970s-flavoured details like a dummy sump and round white-faced clocks with a modern trellis frame, USD fork and single-sided swingarm.
