For 2006 the S2R 800 continued as the smallest and cheapest of the S2R range, offered in three classic colour schemes alongside the matte Dark. It retained the 803 cc injected twin, upside-down fork and single-sided swingarm. The slipper clutch was noted as updated with a cush drive and twin primary sprocket.
