The 2008 S4R Testastretta was the final year of the 998 cc, 130 hp model that had replaced the 996-engined S4R. It had the radial Brembo front brakes, fully adjustable Showa and Sachs suspension and single-sided swingarm of the 2007 bike. It sat below the Öhlins-equipped S4RS in the range.
