The Tricolore was a limited special edition of the S4RS for 2008, painted in the red, white and green of the Italian flag in the tradition of earlier Ducati Tricolore bikes. Mechanically it matched the standard S4RS, with the 130 hp Testastretta, Ohlins suspension and radial Brembo brakes. Carbon-fibre parts and numbered plates marked it out; around 400 were reported built.
