The S version of the first Multistrada 1200 adds Ducati Electronic Suspension developed with Öhlins, letting the rider adjust damping and preload from the dash for solo, loaded or two-up use. It shares the 150 hp Testastretta 11° engine, four riding modes and eight-level traction control with the base bike. It was offered in Sport and Touring editions with carbon parts or luggage and heated grips.
