The Desert Sled is the off-road-flavoured Scrambler, inspired by the stripped-down desert racers of 1960s and 70s California. It adds a reinforced frame, long-travel 200 mm suspension, a longer aluminium swingarm, a 19-inch front spoked wheel, skid plate and mesh headlight guard to the 803 cc twin. It came in white or Ducati Red with a black frame and gold-rimmed wheels.
