Ducati file

The first modern Ducati sport-tourer, the ST2 combined a steel-trellis chassis and the 944 cc liquid-cooled two-valve desmodromic V-twin with raised bars, a roomy dual seat and softer suspension than the 916. Fuel injection came from Marelli, and Showa suspension and Brembo brakes were taken from the sports range. It replaced the Paso as the touring-oriented Ducati. The 1999 listing is mechanically identical to earlier years.
