The Streetfighter S is the up-spec version of the 1099 cc naked, adding Öhlins fork and shock, forged wheels, a lighter dry weight and Ducati Traction Control with data-logging hardware. The engine and 155 hp rating are shared with the base bike, making it the more track-capable variant. By 2012 the 1099 cc Streetfighter was sold as the S only, alongside the 848.
