GasGas is a Spanish off-road maker from Salt, near Girona, founded in 1985 by former Bultaco and Montesa engineers. It became a major name in trials, enduro and motocross, with riders winning many world championships, and also built supermotard and a few road bikes. The company failed in 2015, was rescued by Rieju, and has been part of KTM since 2019, so the later models share engineering with KTM and Husqvarna.
