The SP01 was Gilera's 1988 sporty 125 for young riders: a liquid-cooled two-stroke single of 35 hp in an aluminium beam frame with disc brakes front and rear and a six-speed gearbox. A Pepsi-Suzuki racing replica livery was offered in 1989.
