For 1994 the Convertible moved from the rubber-mounted FXR Low Rider platform to the newer Dyna chassis, keeping its party trick: a quick-release Lexan windscreen and removable saddlebags that turned a light tourer into a stripped cruiser. Compared with the regular Dyna it had a steeper 28-degree steering head, longer-travel progressive suspension and firmer damping.
