For 1999 the Dyna Low Rider swapped the old Evolution motor for the new rubber-mounted Twin Cam 88, while keeping its formula of the lowest saddle in the Harley range, a raked-out fork and pull-back bars. It stayed carburetted and five-speed, with mid controls, highway pegs and staggered shorty duals, and was aimed at shorter riders and anyone wanting a slammed custom look straight from the factory.
