The plain FXD was the entry ticket to the Dyna family: Twin Cam 96, six-speed Cruise Drive gearbox, belt drive and a 19-inch front wheel, with little chrome jewellery so owners could build it their own way. For 2010 it gained new tyres and a helical-cut fifth gear for quieter running. It was the final year of the base Super Glide before the line-up leaned on the Street Bob and Super Glide Custom.
