For 1999 the Dyna Wide Glide swapped the Evolution engine for the new 1450 cc Twin Cam 88, still rubber-mounted in the Dyna frame, giving more torque and a smoother ride. The styling formula stayed the same: wide fork, skinny 21-inch front, 16-inch rear, high bars, forward controls and plenty of chrome. Testers liked its comfort and looks but noted limited cornering clearance.
