By 1986 the FLHTC was the core of Harley's Electra Glide line, because the old solid-mount FLH had been dropped and every touring model now used the rubber-mounted FLT/FLHT frame. It carried on with the 1340 Evolution engine, five speeds, triple 292 mm discs, the batwing fairing and full luggage, unchanged in its main specifications.
