The early-1970s FLH was a Shovelhead Electra Glide with the 74 cu in engine, four-speed gearbox, chain drive and drum brakes at both ends. It still had a kickstarter alongside the electric starter. A batwing fairing had been available since 1969, which helped establish the dresser look that touring Harleys still use.
