By 2005 the Ultra Classic came only with fuel injection, using the Twin Cam 88 with a black powder-coated finish and the five-speed gearbox, and 2006 was the last Ultra year for both that engine and gearbox. The 2006 model gained an adjustable two-position Tour-Pak, an 80-watt Harman/Kardon audio system, a lighter clutch pull and a 50-amp charging system.
