The Tour Glide Classic was the fully equipped version of the FLT, adding a standard trunk with backrest, engine guards and a plusher seat to the frame-mounted-fairing tourer. By 1986 it carried the rubber-mounted Evolution 1340 engine and belt final drive, and road testers praised its stability, wind protection and comfort while noting limited rear suspension travel and a high price.
