This is the Low Rider with the bigger 80 cu in Shovelhead, bored and stroked over the original 1200 and tuned lean to meet US emission rules. It kept the solid-mounted FX chassis, four-speed gearbox and chain drive, but gained electronic ignition and an oil cooler. Period testers found it rough-running in traffic until the carburation was richened.
