The mid-to-late 1990s Heritage Softail Classic carried on with the 1340 Evolution engine and five-speed belt-drive driveline, by now a refined and reliable package. The nostalgic dresser look - studded bags, windshield, wide whitewall-style 16-inch wheels and big chrome headlamp - made it one of Harley's best-selling models. 1999 was the last year before the Twin Cam 88B took over.
