The 2001-2002 Road Glide carried on with the Twin Cam 88 engine, carburetted or fuel-injected, the frame-mounted fairing with stereo and cockpit-style gauges, and the low windscreen. It remained the sleeker, more streamlined option in Harley-Davidson's touring range. There were no major mechanical changes from the 1999-2000 bikes, and the published figures are the same.
