The 2013 Road King carried over almost unchanged from 2012, when it gained the 103 cu in Twin Cam with an integrated oil cooler. It is the stripped-back member of H-D's touring family: Hiawatha headlight with passing lamps, a quick-release windshield instead of a fairing, hard saddlebags and footboards, so it works as a town cruiser or a long-distance mount. ABS, cruise control and the security system were options.
