The police Road King was the law-enforcement version of the fuel-injected Twin Cam 88 Road King, chosen by forces for its durability and low running costs. It came with red and blue pursuit lamps, wiring for an optional siren, waterproof fibreglass saddlebags with quick latches, engine and saddlebag guards, and a solo air saddle with a remote reservoir and gauge. The powertrain was finished in black and chrome.
