The Bad Boy took the Softail Springer and turned it dark: a black finish with blacked-out springer front end, a slotted solid rear wheel and floating front disc brakes gave it a menacing, retro-custom look. Power came from the 1340 Evolution V-twin with a carburettor and five-speed gearbox. For 1996 Harley blacked out more of the brightwork, lowered the seat and fitted an electronic speedometer, and the model was dropped after 1997.
