The Breakout name debuted on this Custom Vehicle Operations model, a limited run of about 1,900 bikes built around the Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam 110B. Over the later standard Breakout it added the bigger engine, chrome Turbine wheels, three elaborate paint schemes with polished or lace-stencilled panels, and standard ABS, cruise control and keyless ignition, making it the only Softail of the year with cruise control.
