In these years the Springer Softail was sold as the carburetted FXSTS or the fuel-injected FXSTSI, both with the 1449 cc Twin Cam 88B and five-speed gearbox. The page notes 2002 updates including bullet turn signals and a new fuel shut-off valve. Otherwise it remained the retro-styled Softail with the chrome springer front end and 21-inch front wheel.
