For 2018 the Street Bob moved from the discontinued Dyna range to the all-new, lighter and stiffer Softail chassis, with the rear shock hidden under the seat. Power came from the Milwaukee-Eight 107, and the bike kept its stripped bobber recipe: blacked-out finish, laced wheels, chopped fenders, mini-ape bars and mid controls. LED lighting, a digital gauge set into the riser and keyless ignition were new.
