Harley-Davidson marked 75 years of continuous production in 1978 with several commemorative editions, and this XLH 1000 was the Sportster version. It was finished in black with gold trim and anniversary detailing and had a leather-covered seat. Under the paint it was the regular electric-start XLH 1000.
