Electronic sequential port fuel injection replaced the carburettor on all Sportsters for 2007, giving the 1200 Custom cleaner running and more mid-range torque. New gauges with a clock and dual trip meters, lighter clutch and brake levers and fresh tank graphics for 2008 rounded out the updates, while the chrome-heavy look and forward controls stayed.
